Its Official, braaap set to take on the USA with NASCAR star Marcos Ambrose

Its been a huge month here at braaap and I've just arrived back from a trip to the USA, where I spent time with Australian V8 Supercar Champion and NASCAR star Marcos Ambrose.

Marcos is a Local boy from Launceston and has made it big time racing cars, NASCAR has the largest fan base for any motorsport on the Planet. Marcos now lives in Charlotte -the heart of Nascar.

It was awesome to go and spend time in Charlotte, I got a look through some NAscar workshops and we checked out the local Moto Scene.
We went to a local arenacross, 480 riders! the sport is Huge in the US!

So you ask what is our plans for braaap USA????

The grand Vision is to roll out franchised stores across the USA as we are doing in Australia, to build the sport of superlite and to develop the racing and riding community of the superlite industry.

Stage 1 of our roll out is very focused on becoming the number 1 superlite team, we have a truck and 40ft trailer all wrapped in braaap colours, we are developing great contingency programs for the race events and are speaking to some of the best riders on the planet to build a race winning team, Marcos is a racer at heart and his words to me were "we need to win Vegas" "Give me a list of riders who could win" "lets build the number 1 team"

We have a great operational team in the USA, every one has motorsport backgrounds and is so pumped to be braaapn it up.

We will be very focused on event based retail and marketing and Online for the first 6 months.
We have a huge amount of spares parts to make sure we an offer the best service in the moto industry, and can back up every bike we sell.

We will sign up only a select amount of dealers, although Ive had enquiries from many dealers already we cant just have any one, we dont just want to sell bikes, our mission is to develop the sport of superlite riding and racing.

The Holy Land

Todays Blog is coming to you from the Holy land. Jerusalem.
Im here with Tony Robbins and about 50 of the Anthony Robbins platinum partners.

The Platinum Partnership has been a dream of mine to join since Mum started playing Tony Robbins CDs to us kids when we were in Primary School.

The Plats are a group of people who are all kicking ass. Its not an easy group to join, there are only 100 members every year across the Globe.

The Mission statement for Plats is "Planet is our playground, Love is our legacy"

The Platinum Partnership directly supports the Anthony Robbins Foundation which feeds more than three million people in 56 countries every year and has supported some amazing programs. Here in Israel we supported a soccer program in the middle of the most volatile and conflict effected area's, we took bullet proof busses to the soccer field and to visit some youth peace leaders from Jewish, Muslim and Christian back grounds, Tony created a program to take young people from these and many other different religions,extreme people who wanted to kill each other, We got to have dinner with the kids from this program Tony created here 3 years ago and these young people shared their story how they went from literally trying to kill each other to now being best friends and working every day to build peace among all religions and get these conflicted areas focused on Humanity. This was one of the most moving things Ive ever been apart of.

oh yeah and our Bullet proof bus broke down in the middle of hebron!

The reason I joined this group is to be around and learn from the people who are the best on the planet at what they do.
The reason im here is to learn and grow, and to develop the skills to help others grow.

One of the Guys in the group built his company to 12 billion dollars in Value. This group all are over achievers and they hold you to a higher standard. Proximity Is power.



We arrived in Israel and spent 3 days in jerusalem.
We had the leading Professor of Religion come and present to us and take us to all the Locations, the Holy Places for the Jew's, the Muslims, Christians and many other religions that most of us haven't heard of before.

The purpose of our trip is to understand conflict and how conflict holds us back, Conflict holds countries back, Conflict holds religious Groups back, Conflict Holds Companies back but also it holds individuals back, Inner conflict.


The work that Tony was teaching us is that conflict begins when your story of how things should be doesn't line up with how things actually are.
That stress, fear, conflict can only happen when people are focused on either the future or the past, there is no such thing as any of those emotions if you live and focus on the now.

The punch line for this trip is "Change your Story, Change your life"

The brain is seperated into 2. the experiencing self and the remembering self

the experiencing self is existing in the now, it can only hold a memory for 3 seconds, anything after that has to go to your memory, Your brain uses stories as its filing system, So it doesn't matter what your experience is like, what will effect you is the story you attach to that experience.

Tony taught us how to go back to and attach empowering stories to events that are causing inner conflict and use them as power to fuel your fire.


This is a place that moves you.

The week that turned into a Month

I'm writing this from Israel.

Why the hell is he in israel? so many people have asked. LOL

Well my trip started out with the International Young Entrepreneur of the year awards in Japan as a part of the JCI world congress.
This was an amazing week, an very international week, there was over 10,000 people at the congress from all over the planet.

I was awarded runner Up in the International Young Entrepreneur of the year award, thanks so much to Peter the Australian Main man in JCI and every one at braaap form our staff who do so much and the passionate customers who make what we do worth while.

As most of you know Im a Tony Robbins nut, if you don't know of Robbins work youtube him. Number 1 Peak performance coach on the planet. Im fortunate enough to spend 12 days with him and his army of Platinum Partners here in ISrael and then over to Egypt.

I truly believe that proximity is power and the people you surround your self with are the people who will influence everything you do. Thats the number 1 reason Im here in Israel, We have some massive opportunity at braaap and have had some great success but you know Im not one to look at what we have done, my mission is to build the braaap franchise and retail concept into the number 1 affordable adrenaline sport retailer on the planet, to build braaap into the number one action sports label and of course our greater mission is to educate young people on how to get adrenaline rush's from action sport rather than drugs,crime or violence - the braaap club and community group....
We are about to Launch our all new Online platforms, we have some massive things happening with braaap club, we have just signed a deal to launch into the USA and have bought on angel investors to help accelerate the growth of braaap international into other countries across the planet.

To bring all this into action, to make it happen, we need to learn from the best in the world, especially in retail 2nd best is not good enough. as they say there is no such thing as a secure future all you can do is educate your self and be ready to adapt to change, I think many of us have seen how change is so important especially the last 2 years.

So thats why Im here, to learn, to be around the best people on the planet and to prepare to rocket braaap to the next level.

In between Japan and Israel I had a week spare, I got a call from a mate who is living in Thailand being mentored by some of the best and most successful internet marketers on the planet.

I took them up on the offer to come stay and man was I blow away by some of the things these guys do, I learned stacks, How can you put a value on spending 5 days with the Number 1 seller on the internet at the moment? How can you put a value on having dinner with the guy who has the highest conversion rate on the internet at the moment? and how can you put a Value on the relationship you build with people like this?

I am so excited to be about to launch an affiliation program online for braaap customers.
I want our passionate fans and super fans to have a platform to turn their passion into their profit. the braaap affiliation program is exactly this!

I speak at schools all the time to young people about how they can turn their passion into their pathway, the week before i cam to japan I did 10,000 kids with my great friend Sam Cawthorn, you know while I was travelling around Tasmanian speaking to thousands of kids and in between speaking gigs sitting in a car next to Sam who is one of the mast passionate and futuristic thinkers you will meet, it dawned on me thats exactly what braaap does, we help people turn their passion into their pathway.
weather it be a franchisee (who owns their own braaap store) or if a passionate customer who signs up to become a braaap affiliate our job is to help you turn your passion into your pathway.

So I learned a stack in Thailand, thank you to the guys for sharing their knowledge with me, I cant wait to show you all the braaap affiliate program.

the next part of my trip is to Egypt with Tony Robbins and the crew and then I head to the USA.

I am so pumped to make the trip over to the USA and spend a week or 2 with Marcos Ambrose and his team. We have some masssssive USA plans. We have some massive International Plans.

We always get each other pumped up on, well actually anything but today's conversation was interesting, I thought I'd Share it with you.

We always speak about growing, Weather it be business growth , personal growth or helping others to grow it doesn't matter as long as we are pushing forwards we are pumped.

Today we spoke about the different generations, eg Gen Y , Gen X etc.

Sam had just had a conversation with the Author of FISH , Stephen Lundin.

Stephen was saying there is really only 1 date we need to think about when we talk Generations and marketing to them.

That date is 1994.

People Born Pre 1994 and people born Post 1994.

I was like WTF??? LOL

What the hell happened in 1994?

1994 is the year the internet became main stream.

I'd love to hear your comments How did 1994 change what you do.

6 weeks Away!

Hey whats up!

I haven't blogged for ages so I thought I'd give the world an update.

Life has been crazy here at braaap.
The past year has seen us undertake massive growth.
We are in a phase of mastering what we have. Getting into the detail of our business, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, systems and building the fundamentals and foundations to prepare for rapid growth.

I just spent 6 weeks oversea's.
2 weeks in china with our French Manufacturing Companion's focusing on our supply chain, manufacturing efficiency and some badass new products!

Then 2 weeks in the USA preparing for the World MiniSX title in Vegas. It was an awesome time and made some great plans for the future.

Then we headed to Europe for 2 weeks in France and Italy. Some business but mostly a much needed break and a celebration with family friends for Pauly's 50th Bday!

Back on deck now and have been managing the Frankston store whilst Ryano (Manager) has been off with a new born baby! Its been awesome to get back on the floor.

I love sharing our story and hearing from customers who love what we do.

4 rides, 4 days, 4 stores in 4 citys!

Just had the sickest week!

This week I had the tough job of traveling to all the braaap stores for training, fun, and general braaapness.

I took a few pics, so see below.

Phil In Devonport, he is a kick ass designer and has developed a braaap range of merchandise, any way i took him out to loose his braaap Virginity, He hasn't quiet paid off his maestro so Dport franchisee Gaz lent him his pride and joy, gaz doesnt let any one even look at his braaap let alone ride it, They call it the Lump Pup.LOL any way we took Phil, the lump pup and a stack of petrol our riding and man was it fun!
I would love to have seen Phils face when we delivered gaz's braaap cause we managed to crash and snap the back guard! haha



Wednesday Night We rode wells RD in Frankston and banged bars til dark! It was awesome to see about a dozen or more braaap's having a blast and a heap of new riders.

I took Huddo and Mitch for their 2nd coaching lesson! The boys are getting good! we had a blast!

We always have a fair few onlookers come and ask about our bikes, I had a fair bench race with a few dudes!

Tuesday we rode the Hobart Mini SX Track! that thing was the best its ever been! man we got a buzz railing the berms and hitting the jumps! Sick Vegas practise! loved it! Langers, the Sales manager took me and streeta the Hobart workshop manager down and we slipped in a quick 2 hrs on the track!

We rode in Devonport (Ulverstone actually) with Ken Belbin, this guy is a suspension animal! we tyested forks, valves, shims, and oil weights, swapping forks and busting out Moto's! The new fork internals are night and day difference! I cant explain how much confidence it gives you having the best suspension, knowing you can go big or come up short and not snap your wrist's off from the shock..LOL

Phil didnt mind stacking our test bikes! hahah see the pic!

The red dirt was aweosme on the side of a hill, a full on European moto track!


Well Now I've had all the fun i better go check my emails and sell some god dam dirt bikes!
